Warwick Castle And Shakespeare Country

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5We enjoyed visiting warwick castle which we found to be both educational and entertaining, a very good full day out. We also enjoyed walking around Stratford and visiting the Shakespearian attractiions, again a good day out. Could we espcially mention the food at the hotel - the selection, quantity, and quality available in the bar was in our opinion very good and great value. After our days out the bar was the perfect place to eat and relax before retiring for the evening.
Road Trip To Stratford

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5We had a brilliant three nights. We loved stratford but if we had visited shakespeares birthplace, ann hathaways cottage, mary arden's house as well as doing the open top bus it would have cost us a fortune. We also enjoyed warwick (tourist information office was very helpful) & the castle, at the castle it was a shame that several attractions you had to pay extra for on top of the admissions price.
A Visit To Stratford On Avon

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5We had a lovely break at stratford visiting friends. We stayed at the kings court hotel which was very comfortable and welcoming. Our room was very spacious and clean with en suite bathroom. It was reaching a time when it needed some attention to decoration and upgrading of bathroom facilities but this did not detract frojm the comfort. I would highly recommned the hotel. The staff were very friendly nd helpful. We enjoyed a boat trip on the river and were very lucky with the weather. A visit to the royal shakespeare theatre to see "macbeth" was the highlight of our visit with a pre theatre meal at very reasonable cost in the theatre restaurant. I would highly recomend the cafe there for treats at very reasonable prices.

The Hotel

Stay Date: 13/03/11
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5As we were only using the hotel as a meeting point and were there one day, we didn't visit any local attractions. The hotel bar was good, staff were very friendly and didn't pester you. As the hotel restaurant was well recommended we had our evening meal there, the food was excellent, portions good, the delay between courses was neither too long nor too short, just perfect in fact. The cost was reasonable as was the cost for the entire weekend and i have already recommended it to friends.
