out of 5Our hotel room had a musty smell the. Whole room was in need of a refurb. The room was very dark. Meal in hotel and breakfast where very good.

out of 5The hotel is very conveniently located 200 metres from the station and is in a grand setting in well kept grounds. Some of the rooms at the side close to a steep wooded slope are dark and a bit noisy because of a nearby air conditioning plant. The food at breakfast and dinner varied in quality from poor to good.We visited Buxton for the third time for the annual Gilbert and Sullivan Festival based mainl in the Opera House. As usual this was very good and very well attended at the two shows we saw.

out of 5We stayed at the Palace Hotel and had a great time. The hotel is well placed to leave your car and walk around this wonderful spa town to see the sights. The staff at the hotel are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. It is worth visiting the Dome and booking treatments in the spa room. The prices are excellent and the facilities are first class.
