About Flashdance

Get ready for the show of a lifetime with the all singing all dancing Flashdance the Musical! Adapted from the 1983 smash hit film, Flashdance the Musical tells the story of 18 year old Alex, a welder by day and an exotic dancer by night who dreams of getting into the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy. With the odds against her, Alex must hold onto her hopes and fight against adversity to make her dreams become a reality.

This latest tour of Flashdance the Musical is bigger and better than ever before. This year sees ex Busted member and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contested Matt Willis take on the role of Nick. Meanwhile, Alex is played by the brilliant Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Flashdance The Musical UK tour and Grease) and together the pair bring real energy and a high level of excitement to the show.

Both Matt and Victoria pull out all the stops and are backed up by some stunning sets, superb choreography from Arlene Phillips (So You Think You Can Dance, We Will Rock You, Strictly Come Dancing, Grease) and of course one of the greatest sound tracks in the West End. You are sure to be up on your feet and singing along the whole way to some classic hits, such as Maniac, Manhunt, Gloria, I Love Rock & Roll and the Academy Award winning title track Flashdance - What a Feeling.

Performance times for Flashdance the Musical are as follows:

Evenings: Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 19:30 Friday at 20.30

Matinees: Friday at 17:00 Saturday at 15:00

Subject to holidays and any unforeseen circumstances, Matt Willis and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt are contracted to play Flashdance the Musical until 15/01/2011

Flashdance Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests.
