Situated in the southwest corner of Finland, Turku’s fabulous countryside and archipelago surroundings are sights to behold in terms of landscape. A candidate for European Capital of Culture, Turku is home to many art galleries and museums including the Aboa Vetus museum, the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art and Turku Cathedral. It hosts a Medieval Market in July each year.
