out of 5Hotel in good location - bit further than we though in terms of walking distance to and from Edinbugh city centre but easily accessible by bus. Hotel room was basic but comfortable (apart from the pillows - though the staff were very helpful and gave us an extra pillow) but didn't really have a nice view from the window - it looked out onto a wall. Had booked a double room but got to the room and found we had two single beds pushed together. Overall the room was nice and basic and was great for us as we weren't in the room much of the stay - as we were visiting a few of the city attractions. Can't fault the staff as they were very helpful and friendly. Overall had a great first time visit to the city and would love to go back but maybe at a different hotel - something more central, with better pillows.
