out of 5We had an amazing time in Prague. Our hotel (Hotel Pyramida) was very well situated, I would advise anyone thinking of booking a hotel that is not in the city centre to opt for the side of the river with the Jewish quarter and Hradcany. The hotel Pyramida was a 15 minute walk downhill to the River and the walk was lovely. Alternatively a 22 or 23 tram takes a few minutes and costs less than a pound for a travel pass for the day. The city itself is absolutely stunning, you can reach everywhere by walking if you have the time and the energy which is certainly the best way to enjoy Prague. Restaurants are inexpensive and varied, many featuring live music. Restaurants are a lot more reasonable and of a higher standard slightly outside of the Old Town and Wenceslas Square, the Lemon Leaf for example with amazing Thai cuisine where a three course meal with wine cost us around 25EURO. Be sure to check out the Jazz/Blues clubs, all musicians and vocalists that we saw were great.
