out of 5Fantastic hotel in an excellent position close to all attractions, shops, bars etc. In Bowness. The food at the hotel is fantastic and there are many excellent restaurants in Bowness, however, vila positano will take some beating. Its only small so make sure you book a table. My choice would be the calves liver to start followed by the tornedos rossini.

out of 5Sleepless night. Single glazing. Room opposite taxi rank. Drunken football fans singing into the early hours. One towel and two small cartons of milk in double room. No-smoking room smelt of smoke. Damp patch on wall. No parking spaces left when we got there.
