out of 5This was my second visit to the Delmere hotel and I will be booking another short break in a few weeks time. I have stayed in many hotels in London much larger and more expensive, but the Delmere is perfect for me. It is small and friendly and in a good location, it is particularly good if travelling alone as I sometimes do. The rooms are clean and bright and the breakfast is good.A very enjoyable break.

out of 5I spent my two days in London by taking a tour to leeds castle, canterbury cathedral and dover. The tour was great, although the weather was atrocious. I can thoroughly recommend this tour as 'a little out of the ordinary' - a change from the usual day tours from London. My second day was spent reviewing the early history of britain at the british museum. What a treat! all those artefacts! then, it was off the oxford street for a great afternoon of shopping.

out of 5Stayed with a friend and having experienced many London hotels in the past, was very impressed with the service, cleanliness and value for money. Although we were situated on the lower ground floor, it had a pleasant courtyard arrangement to allow light in and was extremely quiet at night. The restaurant was lovely and calm with an excellent choice of food. There was also a comfortable lounge and I would not hesitate to stay there again. As paddington was only two minutes walk away, travel was easy and had we chosen to stay in the area, there was a good selection of bars and restaurants.
