out of 5On arriving in York we had a bag that was too big and heavy to carry around so we made our way to the hotel, we arrived at hotel at 2pm an hour before check in and asked the receptionist (female) if we could check in early or leave our bag somewhere before even finishing my sentence she said no check in 3pm and walked away! no professionalism at all, no customer service skills. We then came back to check in at 3pm...The bed was obviously a good age or someone had been jumping as it dipped in the middle, causing a sore back the nxt morning. Also the bathroom floor is a disgusting colour...Judging from the side of the lino this should be a silver colour, its nearly black...Would recommend that this is renewed.

out of 5Travel lodge only suppied 1 small bar of soap for 2 people, no shampoo, no biscuits, 1 chair, very thin walls (noisy) real penny pinching !!!.

out of 5Enjoyed York very much. Two things annoyed me about the Travelodge itself. There was no facility to leave luggage and no proper breakfast area. Our train didn't leave York until 3.30 so my daughter and I had to to the station to leave luggage there.Although the breakfast bag was nice enough, I would have enjoyed a proper breakfast much more.
