Train up to Edinburgh with two night stay in the holiday inn. Food and facilities were excellent. Did most of the sights and found the city to be well worth the visit. Will be returning in the near future.

3 couples travelled and we were all pleased with the hotel and felt it was value for money. We ate both evenings in the hotel. Our first meal was included in the package and I chose to pay the extra supplement for the steak which was very poor. I mentioned this and the supplement was removed and 10% was given off our bill. Watch when paying for drinks though, twice we were charged for drinks we never had. Some rooms had showers only, others with a bath. Worth mentioning on booking if you have a preference. We went by taxi into the city centre (about £10 each way) we did the open top bus tour and also the attraction of what lies beneath edinburgh which was very interesting. Went into the art gallery which is free entry. We had cream tea at jenners, when we finally found our way through the store. There is plenty to occupy you in this lovely city and a for those who like them there was a piper on every street corner.

We were upgraded to a suite a lovely gesture, the room was clean warm and spacious, the staff were very polite and helpful. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant the service was first class. We spent three hours exploring the museum and both agree we will need to visit again to see all the exhibits. After all the walking in the morning we treated ourselves to an afternoon at the cinema, there was plenty films to chose from and the cinema was clean and the seats were very comfortable. After a nice meal at an italian restaurant before making our way to jonglars comedy this was a very good choice as we had a brilliant time lots of laughs and good music pity we were to tired too stay for the disco.

Superb value from Superbreak and plan to arrange another break in the near future. It did what it said on the tin! thank you.
