out of 5This is a very handy hotel for south and central Birmingham and the motorway network. The food is always good here but, although the rooms have been refurbished, the bathrooms are not cleaned well. They often have functions at the weekend so ask for a quiet room. Worth the money if you get a special rate but their standard rates are a bit pricey.

out of 5Travelling for a course. Room beautiful very clean. Almost perfect. Busy Saturday night with two large parties in. As someone travelling alone I decided to use room service. Lovely meal when arrived and in good time but would have been better if the salt and pepper had actually had some in. Staff were efficient if a little impersonal. Breakfast was a dissapointment with no staff in evidence. No serving staff and not enough tables set up. Left to own devices. When staff did turn up they were young and appeared to have no idea what to do. Cook then turned up and everything organised. On the whole good hotel and would use again but little touches that would make this place outstanding are missing.
