Famed for the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire there is plenty to keep you busy in West Wales. Visit the ancient Cathedral at St David's, take a trip to nearby Caldey Island, watch dolphins and Wales off the coast or enjoy an adventure in one of the regions many castles. The medieval town of Tenby has plenty of character and offers three blue flag beaches.

A Great Base for exploring Pembrokeshire

out of 5Lamphey Court Hotel is as luxurious as the brochure description. However the staff are all extremely welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere is one of a relaxed country house. Food is imaginative, locally sourced and varied. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring Pembrokeshire.Tenby is the typical picturesque seaside town. The wide sandy bay is surrounded by neat colour washed houses . There is an excellent large car park close to the town. From there you can either take the free bus to the beach and harbour or walk the short distance into the town. The gardens above the beach are perfect for sitting and admiring the views down into the harbour and out to sea. You can visit Caldey Island by boat. There are plenty of pubs and cafes in the town to satisfy any appetite and interesting and varied shops and galleries to explore.
