out of 5We travelled as 2 couples for my birthday and my dads, the hotel reception was impressive the staff very polite and friendly great modern rooms we had view of the inner courtyard which had seating area prob nice in summer, we ate at hotel restaurant 3 course italian meal was fab the biggest choc cake portion ive ever seen, casual sports bar for bar food and drinks average prices, the pool and facilities were spot on, the only time we left hotel was to eat in the indian restaurant 2 mins walk away which seems popular and the food was really good. So no driving it was bliss theres also a cinema and bowling comlex and pizza hut .Would highly recommend this hotel. We had a special offer deal 2 nights with dinner inc on first night fantastic value. I ve stayed at other village hotels and have always been impressed, will book another weekend soon cheers!.

out of 5Weekend very good value. Hotel including room -overall good, although evening meal lacked choice and service was slow. Ate out second night at 'chinese' opposite -ok, but hotel situated away from easy access to town other than by car. Good centre for local attractions. Cotswold wild life park particularly worth visiting. Swindon a nightmare for roundabouts and traffic.

out of 5The De Vere hotel, Shaw Ridge, at Swindon is a great place to stay. Just off the M4 at J16. Easy to get to, and welll situated for the designer oulet centre and the town centre. The hotel itself was great with friendly and efficient staff. Excellent health facilities, which myself and wife took full advantage of in having both a facial and a foot massage. The food was delicious. Had one evening meal and full buffet breafasts each morning which set you up for the rest of the day. Would certainly go back and would recommend it to anybody who wants a relaxing spa break.

out of 5Stayed at the Shaw Ridge hotel, was a lovely hotel, staff were great and friendly upon check in. Rooms were comfy but warm, not good in the summer, had a fan in room which helped. Would definatly use again.
