out of 5An "ok" Travelodge, a little drab in the main areas but the bedroom was fine and clean, albeit with a stained shower curtain. Pretty well insulated from noise, despite being on a major junction.Parking was an issue - the car park was full - but we were allowed to park in the neighboroughing car park at the holiday inn for the same fee of £3.

out of 5The wedding was in Bristol, but we spent a couple of days in Oxford and one in Newport prior to the event.Oxford was wonderful. We liked the Park and Ride deal from the hotel so you don't have to take cars into the city. The Stop and Go bus takes you around to all the major attractions. We found the Ashmolean wonderful as were the colleges, but Alice Liddell's shop is an expensive tourist trap.

out of 5Please note that the Superbreak voucher for the pre-booked and pre-paid accommodation (Travelodge) was posted too late - it did not arrive before we departed for the holiday break. Luckily I had also printed the e-mail confirmation of the booking and it had the reference number from Superbreak. Travelodge accepted that as proof of payment, so we didn't have any problems other than needing to clarify that I'd booked accommodation over phone some days before. The letter from Superbreak was waiting for us amongst the mail on our return to home after the break.
