out of 5Train to london was on time and clean. Bought one day passes for the underground in london. Good value for us. Stayed in the travelodge, covent garden. Excellent view from our room, on the 7th floor. Quick 10min walk to the theatre. Show was wonderful. Costumes and singing excellent. Natural history museum the next day. Queues too long at madam tussauds.

out of 5Hotel was good but basic and the room appeared to have been cleaned in a rush. Only one bath towel was provided despite knowing there were two people, and there was no shampoo, shower gel or hairdryer which was unexpected. All staff were friendly and helpful but it was disappointing that there was no luggage room. We were offered to keep our room until 2pm for an extra cost but as our train wasn't until 7pm we were advised to store our bags at charing cross station, this cost us £8.50 per item and meant we had to go out of our way.

Editor's Comments: It is Travelodge policy not to provide miniature bottles of toiletries, they do however sell a range of basic toiletries from vending machines in every hotel.

out of 5My friend and I stayed at the travelodge, covent garden. It has obviously been newly refurbished because we could still smell the new carpet in our room! The hotel was excellent value for money and the food was good. The only downside was that we had difficulty in understanding the english of the receptionist. She was not impolite, just a very quietly spoken oriental girl - but we got there in the end and all was well!.
