out of 5We stayed at the travelodge, which had a perfect location on st marys street, just off the royal mile, but the room was somewhat noisy with city traffic, however the room was very spacious and the breakfast was good value. All the attractions, except the britannia were within walking distance and considering august is very busy with the fringe and tattoo, queues were minimal. Car parking at the travelodge was £10 for 24 hours which was cheaper than most city centre car parks. The britannia is well worth visiting however the directions are not as visible as you would think. Overall edinburgh is a great place to visit and we will be going back soon.

out of 5On arriving at our hotel we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable in an ideal spot just off the royal mile and a short walk from the station. We found plenty to see and do during our stay within walking distance and could have happily stayed longer than two days. Overall a very enjoyable break..
