About Dirty Dancing - Dublin

Dirty Dancing, Dublin is a high energy, fun loving, feel good show and is a must see for lovers of the 1987 blockbuster film. Set in the summer of 1963 Dirty Dancing, Dublin follows the story of Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman who is on holiday in New York’s Catskill Mountains with her family. Baby isn’t interested in the resorts activates and she is delighted when she discovers an all night party happening in the staff quarters. She quickly finds herself mesmerised by the raunchy dance moves and the rhythms and she can’t wait to be part of the scene, especially when she catches sight of Johnny Castle the resort dance instructor.

This marks the beginning of an exciting relationship, where two very different worlds collide. Johnny spends time teaching Baby all his moves and everything he knows about the beauty of dancing and their relationship quickly begins to blossom. But, as the end of summer and the final show draws near, will Baby’s stern farther let her dance with the man of her dreams?
