out of 5Booked this hotel as I needed a short break. Only 90 mins drive from Glasgow. Hotel staff were good . Food was good. But hotel really needs dragged in to 21st century. Rooms really need upgrading & modernized. Bathrooms in particular stuck back in time(1980s). I paid £160 for 2 nights bb & evening meal for both of us. So no real room for complaint.

out of 5Relaxed and enjoyed the situation of the hotel, allowed easy access to all areas for touring or shopping. Hotel is managed very well, certain the room was clean and serviced well each day. Certain areas particularly the stairs and ground floor corridors are rather "tired" in need of decoration.

out of 5The staff were really overstretched and the fire alarm kept going off and there were no one to let us know that it was a false alarm, we had to work it out ourselves chaotic and dangerous to say the least.

out of 5The hotel was ok for overnight accomodation but wasn't the cleanest. The bed sheets had hair on them, the shower curtains had mould on them and the hotel in general could have done with a redecoration to get rid of the wallpaper hanging off the walls and the damp patches.

out of 5Friendly staff. Nice clean room. Not nice view, had view of a roof. Hotel could do with redecorating inside, a bit 70's. I would return to this hotel, the staff were very nice and attentive. The breakfast was good, but i didn't like the sausages, too spicey. But all in all good time was had. Loved the area. Would move there if i could.
