out of 5The Belsted Brook half-board offer gave excelllent value for money. The hotel staff were welcoming and efficient, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious, meals were fantastic - excellent choice & variety. The pool was a real luxury and the hotel & its grounds are in a wonderful location close to regular public transport services. We were delighted by Ipswich itself, a compact town centre with very interesting buildings and the full range of high street stores and more and love exploring the surrounding area - Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Dedham Vale & Flatford Mill and Colchester. The whole area offers excellent public transport services.

out of 5We decided to book a short break away at the last moment. On entering Ipswich we decided to ignore the sat nav and take the instructions from the paperwork given to us, you have to drive though a housing estate to get to the hotel, but once in the grounds they are gorgeous, but quite away from any where really. We got booked in but were unfortunately given the room next to the lift shaft so when someone used the lift in the night this woke us up! apart from that everything else was great, beautiful food, grounds, food and a great place to people watch (as there were 2 weddings during the weekend) the weddings did not distract form the other guests as they were held in the gardens and the function rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
