out of 5The hotel really needs to be maintained. We had dinner and breakfast included in our deal. The dinner was all pre-cooked and not very good. The gym and changing rooms need work doing. Overall my stay was not the best. Wifi did not work. Staff were not very friendly.

out of 5Suffolk golf and country club, don't go for the romantic break. Full of golfers who had way too much beer, loud mouthed and uncontrolable even though they were supposed to be adults. Hotel management non existant and the so-called temporary manager look like a shabby cleaner. Had to have dinner in our room to avoid the aforementioned loud golfers. Breakfast cold, couldn't even lay tables correctly. Room was nice and large, but chairs very dirty. Whole place in need of a revamp. Don't bother booking here!.

out of 5The hotel was very quiet-under occupied-but this suited us overall as the leisure facilities apart from the golf course were almost empty. The room was very good value. The breakfasts were generally good, albeit the tinned fruit was off. The meal in the restaurant was excellent-very well cooked and presented and the service was excellent, however there being only ourselves and one other couple meant that there was a lack of ambience-things can be too quiet-this is a real shame because the food was the nicest we have had in ages and we were delighted with the meal.

out of 5We wanted somewhere not far from where we lived to have a two night break. Bury St Edmunds was just right. The great offer at the hotel made it an even better choice. Ideal for that mini break and lovely surroundings. Dinner at the hotel was delicious.
