out of 5The hotel was fantastic, all of the staff were very polite and helpful. One of the staff in the bar even went out of her way to help us find the cheapest way to get to the salt mines and find companies we could book it with. The rooms were very clean and modern. It was in a fantastic location surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants, visit the singer bar, it's like someones sitting room but has a wonderful atmosphere. Also the retro bar which was another good one, both of these can be found near the hotel which is in the Kasimierz district. Take a 10 minute walk into town and visit the Wawel castle which is stunning and also the beautiful Rynek Glozny which is the main square. Good shops to for those who like shopping! We found a bar called Krawat on the square which was good, and one called CK Browar where you can buy your beer in a tube and serve it to yourself, saves countless trips to the bar! Food and drink was very reasonably priced with a large beer costing less than £1.60! Try cherry vodka too, it's very warming on a cold day! I would also recommend visiting the salt mines and Auschwitz, both of which we did for about £20 each. I would recommend getting a guide in both places as they certainly know their stuff and we learnt lots from both of them. All in all,we had a fabulous time in Krakow and would definitely go back again!.

out of 55 days in Krakow - sights, weather, friendly staff, excellent range of decent priced food, engaging lively nightlife. Almost everything in walking distance. Stay central Krakow or Kazimierz - equally good. Delighted by hotel situation. Excellent staff and full breakfasts. Hotel bar dull but great nightlife within 5 minutes walk. Will return to Poland in near future and recommend to singletons or couples!
