out of 5In the heat of August we found we quickly adapted to Sevillian ways of early starts and escaping the heat of the day by 1.30pm to the pool or siesta and venturing out again in the evening for a late meal and cooler fresh air. Seville has planty to see and experience and the people are so freindly. We were made very welcome everywhere we went.

out of 5We visitd all the local sites, Cathedral and Golden Tower. We had a great lunch in the Jewish Quarter and wandered down the lanes and by ways. We ordered Tapas not quite understanding the menu and just ate what arrived, we were never dissappointed. Took a trip on the train to Jerez and visited the Sherry vaults, sampled a bit too much sherry but still managed to find the train back.

out of 5Take a bus from the Novatel into the city center and visit the Cathedral. Take a leisurly lunch in in one of the many restaurants near to the cathedral for a flavour of local culture before visiting the Alcazar. Eat al fresco in the evening to round off a great day.

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5Seville is a great place, loads going on, and feels completely safe. It feels like a real living city, not overwhelmed by tourists. Walking is the best way around, but its a big place.Great hotel in the alleyways of Barrio Santa Cruz, loads of good bars and restaurants around. If only the hotel had had tea/coffee making facilities in the room.Shopping centre around Centro is also good, always something more around each corner. And recommend going to Alameda de Hercules in La Macarena just to wander around and sit in bars.Best day - Sunday, when most of the population of Seville parade around as families, filling the city centre.
