out of 5Brilliant position overlooking the beach, staff generally helpful, food good and room lovely and comfortable. The one thing we struggled with was that 150 other people descended on friday, which meant our quiet drink in the bar before our meal was not and we felt we had to get up and go to breakfast early to misss the queues - yet when we commented on this at reception we got a weak apology and nothing more! Disappointing for such a lovely place.

out of 5This is a lovely family hotel overlooking a phenomenal beach in North Devon. The hotel has entertainment for the children every evening after their early supper. The problem is that adult's dinner dosent start till after the entertainment at 7pm, so the poor kids had to come and watch us eat! It is quite a 'stuffy' restaurant and diners without kids didnt appreciate listening to my bored kids whinging. This made our evenings not very pleasant. Some parents used the baby listening option but this is not something I would consider for a second as I dont feel it is completely safe.Food is out of this world in both the main ding room and the sands cafe on the beach. Outdoor and indoor pools are lovely. The hotel has a lovely holiday feel and if you get the weather, cannot be beaten.
