out of 5My mother and I stayed at the hotel in order to attend a funeral in Northampton. The room was comfortable thogh we had to ask for tea and coffee bags. We ate in the hotel restaurant; the food was very good when it arrived but we had to wait nearly an hour for it to be served. We were told this was because there was only one chef (it was a Sunday night). Not good enough.

out of 5We met up with friends for a weekend break. Northampton was about half way between where we both live. We had drinks on arrival at lunchtime, went out to eat at the local american diner and then returned to the hotel for a drink and a chat. In the evening we stayed in the hotel and had eveining meal in the hotel restaurant. We finished the evening enjoying a few drinks in the hotel bar. There were two wedding receptions on that day so plenty of activity around the hotel.With our grandosn tired out from the day's activities, we retired to our room late evening and watched TV in our room. Breakfast the next morning was good with a good choice of food after which we checked out abd started our retunr journey back home to Fomrby.
