out of 5Unfortunately as we booked at the last minute there were no appointments at the spa which was one of the reasons for going there. On a different note the dining room was large but we were all placed next to another guests table where we could join in their conversation as we were so close.

out of 5The Last Drop hotel was created from old farm buildings and following much further development offers a unique location for a relaxing break on the edge of dramatic moorland. The hotel's spa facilities are superior to those on offer at many hotels. A fully equipped gym, an 18 metre pool and a spa pool extending outdoors affording views over the local countryside whilst enjoying the full bubble works. Sadly the pub on site (the drop inn) is only open for brief periods over the weekend otherwise there would be little reason to leave the 'last drop village'. Some rooms are offered in a courtyard setting but the downside of this outdoor is a tendency to be disturbed during trhe night by less considerate, fellow guests.

out of 5The spa facilities at the hotel were excellent (an outdoor spa pool in the snow!) but definitely in need of some some basic maintenance. The hotel staff in every department were pleasant and charming whilst remaining highly professional. The bistro restaurant served simple fayre prepared and served to a very high standard at reasonable prices.

out of 5Lovely location, for both the hotel and the village which is very quaint. Decor a little bit dated but room was very clean and comfortable and enjoyed our stay, great breakfast with lots of choice.

out of 5We decided to stay over for a couple of nights and visit the Trafford centre to do some christmas shopping. We will definitely do this again, maybe a different centre next time, it took the sting out of the shopping. The hotel is beginning to look a little tired in places. Otherwise the staff were good and we ate well.
