out of 5We were pleasantly surprised at our beautiful room when we got to the hotel, it was lovely and cosy, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We primarily went to salisbury to visit the cathedral for a service. Staying at the legacy rose and crown was ideal just a very short walking distance away. An excellent stay.

out of 5The hotel was a short walk on side roads to the cathedral and the centre of town. It has a large car park. But its out in the countryside, our room looked accross the rose garden to the river, fields with sheep grazing and the cathedral in the background. We even spotted a kingfisher while having breakfast.

out of 5Hotel messed up on our 1st breakfast but put that right 2nd morning. Dinner was superb. Cathedral was great, walks around salisbury interesting as was old salum. Hotel room, service, cleanliness etc could not be faulted and help in giving local info was very good.
