out of 5Hotel's bar and dining room are a bit delapidated (although the view is fantastic). Dinner was uninspiring (for the cost) and somehow the breakfast was lukewarm but served on incredibly hot plates. Staff were fine though, so all in all it was ok. Wouldn't have been impressed if i'd paid though (rather than having a voucher).

out of 5Beautiful location with unspoilt views, the room albeit very small was full of charm and all amenities needed, amazing lake views... The public areas within the hotel are in need of a little attention and possible re-decoration however this can all be overlooked given the age, history and charm of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was of an excellent standard and well presented. We spent a full day in the hotel spa, very well equipped, beautiful views from the tub and very helpful staff. The razul mud treatment is a must for anyone visiting.... At first glance the room rate seems very reasonable however be prepared to spend much more if you intend to take full advantage of the hotel and its amenities. In total we spent £850.00 during our 2 night stay including room, food, drinks and spa treatments. Overall a very relaxing weekend in a very beautiful location... Defiantly will go back soon.

out of 5The purpose of our break was to relax rather than drive around attractions. For this the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel was ideal.The view from our bedroom was spectacular, although the decor of the room was rather tired. We understand it is due for renovation in near future.Hotel food and service excellent. An adeal spot for walks, wildlife and scenery
