Overseas Product Assistant, Superbreak Head Office, York

An energetic, enthusiastic individual is required to join the Product and Contracting team as an Overseas Product Assistant reporting to the Head of Overseas and Ancillary Product.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analysing sales data and providing relevant reports
  • Dealing with queries from supplier partners by telephone and email
  • Identifying new product opportunities and set up of new hotels
  • Some negotiation with suppliers surrounding deficits, offers etc
  • Assisting in making appointments for contractors and preparing for their trips
  • Helping other areas of the Product and Contracting team as required

Degree: Ideally in a related topic

Salary: Dependant on experience

Transport Product Assistant, Superbreak Head Office, York

An energetic, enthusiastic individual is required to join the Product and Contracting team as an Overseas Product Assistant reporting to the Head of Overseas and Ancillary Product.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Involved in rail, air, road and sea transportation
  • Analysing sales data and providing relevant reports
  • Responsible for package transport allocations and reporting
  • Sourcing great fares from low cost airline sites
  • Chasing and implementing transportation contracts and fares
  • Dealing with internal and external transport related queries
  • Price analysis
  • Assisting in new product launches

Person Specification:

  • Numerate with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Confident with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong cross-departmental relationships and a team player
  • Good organisational and time management skills to ensure that heavy workload is management effectively
  • Fast and responsive – highly deadline driven
  • Proactive with the ability to work on own initiative
  • A professional approach with a full understanding of the importance of good customer service
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word

Degree: Ideally in a related topic
