About this hotel
The Mill Hotel in Sudbury is ideally situated in the heart of East Anglia standing on the banks of the River Stour with magnificent river and countryside views. Bedrooms all furnished to high standard many with river views. Sudbury is a thriving historic market town bordered by water meadows with superb riverside walks. Close by is the village of Long Melford famous for its antique shops and Lavenham, the ancient wool town is six miles away. The air-conditioned, oak beamed restaurant overlooks the terrace and delightful mill pond, and to set the scene, the working mill wheel is located behind a glass screen for all to view. With polished wood floors and oriental carpets, the restaurant has a special that is highly regarded. The Mill Hotel's reputation for good eating makes the restaurant popular and is advisable to book, even if you are staying.
