About this hotel
The 4-Star Hotel Markus Sittikus with 39 rooms is a comfortable family-run hotel in a peaceful area in the centre of the city of Salzburg. The location is most favourable, it's close to the Mirabell garden, opposite the Salzburg Congress centre and "Kurhaus" or wellness centre, the main railway station and a few minutes walk from sights (Mozart's birthplace) in the old town of Salzburg with different squares, cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops. All rooms are well decorated and tastefully furnished, and have satellite TV, radio, hairdryer, telephone and Wireless-LAN. Before going for a walk through Mozart's city of Salzburg, enjoy a rich breakfast with a pleasant atmosphere and service. The hotel garden and lawn invite you to relax and sunbathe. Have a drink in the cosy hotel bar, tastefully decorated. For all interested in cultural events the hotel's staff will be pleased to book excursions and sightseeing trips (Sound of Music, Eagle's Nest, Salt Mine, etc.) Guests can make use of the free internet terminal in the new renovated lounge.
