About Walk the Olympic Way
During the course of the walk you’ll get the chance to see the Victorian Pumphouse at Crossness designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette and opened in 1865. Over an hour and a half you will learn how the regeneration has affected the local community and the archaeology of Stratford and the Lea Valley. The tour finishes with a visit to the View Tube on the Greenway, where you can look across to the Olympic Park, why not stop and enjoy a relaxing drink in the excellent Counter Café. Your Walk The Olympic Way tickets do not include entry into the Olympic construction site and some footpaths may also be closed for construction.
