out of 5We stayed at Flannery's Best Western Hotel. The staff were warm and friendly. The atmosphere in the bar was relaxing with entertainment at the weekends a lot of locals use the bar which makes it much more fun. A short bus ride took us into Galway City which has wonderfully preserved mediavel buildings and the shops were great lots of jewellery shops Don't miss the Kings head, roaring fires fabulous food and great craic. Music seven nights a week. Our only dissapointment was the museum didn't open on Mondays. A drive around the coast to Salthill on Sunday a bustling resort with a wide variety of restaurants an aquarium and really busy with families out walking even on a cold January day. Definitely would love to go back in the summer.
