out of 5The reason for staying at the De Vere Lattimer Place was to combine a visit to the classic car meet at Harpenden which clashed with my wifes' birthday! If you like classic cars then this is an evening not to miss. A tremendous range (1500+) of vehicles from Veteran Bentley and Rolls Royces to a Sinclair C5. Exoitica and the mundane from bygone days. My wife and I amused ourselves noting the cars we had owned over the years. Staring with a pre-war Austin8. A35,Mini, Mk 1 Cortina GT, Austin 1100. No Triumph 2000 or Allegro though! The weather was not very kind but the rain did not deter the visitors. Back to Latimer Place to dry out and an excellent dinner in the Restaurant. The hotel is set in magnificent grounds and we spent some time taking photographs before departing after breakfast.

out of 5An absolutely wonderful hotel in magnificant grounds. The hotel facilites were excellent from the swimming pool right through to the staff, the rooms were very well equipped, clean and quiet ensuring a goods nights sleep. The free coffee machines throughout the hotel and the fresh fruit/biscuits and cakes were much appreciated. All in all a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy magnificent surroundings.
