The hotel was very nice with good sized triple room & large bathroom. The breakfast was very enjoyable in a lovely conservatory with beautiful views & very relaxing. The staff were friendly. Lovely city to look around.

Had the gala dinner and stayed 2 nights at New Year. The meal was ok could have been better. Dinning room a little cold. Very pretty table decorations a good disco, but for the slightly older couples. Rooms fab, nice and clean and warm. Would stay again, fab log fire and lots to do. Great swimming pool very warm!!.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location of this country hotel. However, our room was warm, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast average - not really enough choice for its 4 star rating the worst aspect for us was the very dangerous right turn from an unlit fast A road into the hotel. The lights were very dim and the signage almost non-existant. Please ensure these comments are passed on to the owners. Good value.

Food service was slow and some confusion over bookings when checking in (other family members with the same name had booked several rooms). Otherwise good.

Chester is a beautiful place to visit with a lot of history. There is a beautiful cathedral which is a must visit in addition to unusual shops, restraunts and a nearby zoo.

My 4 year old son and I went to Chester Zoo for the day then went on to Crabwall Mannor a beautiful place, we stayed in a lovely large twin room that over looked the court yard, we went swimming in the pool and I enjoyed the spa whilst being able to watch josh in the pool. We had dinner in the restaurant it was a really nice time for us both we had lots of fun and we enjoyed the quality time we spent together.

I took my wife away for a few days to chill out after Christmas, found the hotel on google and booked via "Superbreak" Absolutely Fab, Great deal,Great Food, Great Hotel, Just Perfect Thoroughly reccomend it.

We stayed at the Crabwall Manor for one night - made use of all the facilities in the day, sauna, pool etc. Then back to our room which was excellent - huge and really well set up. In the evening we had a meal in the hotel restaurant - the food was lovely and the service excellent. We then sat by the fire in the lounge. All the staff were really friendly and helpful - I loved this hotel and definitely want to stay there again.

great place to stay, great location, ideal for shopping in chester and cheshire oaks! the breakfast was good, although did run out of bacon and eggs on the sunday morning, however this was rectified within about 5 mins, and it was busy there fair play. the room we stayed in was nice and roomy and the bathroom was large, with a separate shower cubicle. would definetely stay here again, very pleasant location and very handy for the shopping facilities!

Setting and grounds beautiful. wedding very tastefully arranged. room clean and good size, well equipped but let down by noise from plant room next to my bedroom.Breakfast utter chaos on both mornings - cold coffee, waited 35 minuted for porridge, had to ask for milk etc etc. toaster was not working properly so "toast" was simply warm limp bread [ when you could get some.]

I just brought it for a my boyfriend for his birthday something relaxing away from work!!Didn't have much planned to do but just loved the atmosphere and it was a stunning place to go have recommended it to my clients!A good weekend away!

I was a little disapoointed with this hotel. The decor is old and tired. It si out of date and in desperate need of refurbishing. There were not enough staff manning the small bar and staffing at breakfast was very poor. The buffet ran out of a lot of hot food and this was not replaced. The tables were not cleared often enough and the toast was cold. I was expecting much better service and standards at this hotel.Chester is a lovely city. Well worth visiting. So is Chester Zoo. A great day out.

Found hotel well below average, bathroom was huge but old and dirty with broken tiles. Room was big but again in desperate need of refurb. Breakfast was yummy, Spa complete disapointment, the heater wasnt working so pool and jaccusi were freezing so we only stayed in 5 mins. Ive stayed in much grander places for a lot less money

Ignore any fear of heights - you'll overcome them. Ignore any incement weather - it doesn't matter. Go to Go Ape - and have the time of your life.

We found car parking easy, though expensive. We enjoyed walking the walls, and round the pedestrian streets. There are many lovely old buildings, and the first floor shopping alleys are fascinating. A visit to the Cathedral is well worth while, with an excellent audio tour.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Chester. The Crabwell Manor Hotel was very good, Food-excellent, Health spa-excellent. The only thing that was dull was the weather. We would certainly go again.

Excellent Shopping centre. Good Pubs and coffee bars. Interesting walks round the Town Walls.

We attended a wedding and stayed for the weekend at Crabwall Manor hotel. The wedding was tastefully organised. The food was not tht great and there seemed to be a shortage of staff but the hotel was georgeous. The 4 poster bed was to die for and the b/fasts were generous. We also visited Chesteroak Shopping Villiage where massive discounts could be found in almost all shops and enjoyed a lovely meal in a pleasant chinese buffet restaurant.
