This is our third visit to the Costa Azul. Unfortunately on this occasion we were allocated a room on the first floor which was above the bar/disco hence poor nights sleep and a restricted view. We had requested a room on one of the top floors from which one has spectacular views of the marina and cathedral.

Palma was a lovely place to stay, our hotel overlooked the harbour and the staff were very friendly & helpful. There was plenty of places to visit and most of them on the public bus route. it is an interesting way to travel

The hotel was as you would expect for a 3 star, although the rooms were sparsely furnished they were very clean and were attended to every day. The restaurant area was very pleasant and the food was well presented and pleasing. The bar and lounge areas were also welcoming and efficiently attended to by the staff. The hotel is well located with a lovely view overlooking the marina and has bus stops very close especially for the "to & from" airport. Overall it has much to offer and is well recommended if our experience is typical of what one would expect to receive.

The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Palma attractions (10-15 minutes walk.) The hotel food was good value and saved searching around. Some of the rooms are good - ours wasn't. We asked for sea views and a high floor. We got the 7th floor(excellent), but a side view with two new constructions taking place right alongside our balcony, and at the same level. The workmen were looking directly into our room, so we could not open the curtains. A sea view was possible at an angle across the building sites. This room was very small, we could not pass each other easily. The best rooms are on the front, above level three. Remember there is a six lane dual carriageway outside, so opening the doors is rarely advisable.It was easier to travel to and from the airport by No 1 bus - every 20 minutes or less, and very cheap - it saves queuing for a taxi. Virtually door to door.

We visit Palma every year, and the hotel Costa Azul on the Paseo Maritimo fills all our needs. Just a bus ride, no.1 from the airport one arrives at the most magical road on the island. The grand harbour the beautiful Cathedral and the Belver Castle, this is Palma!Palma offers everything for the discerning traveller, the shops and restaurants, cruises from the harbour, a theatre with a forthcoming ballet production, excellent hotels in all ranges and even a town beach which not everyone knows about.The days when Majorca was the cheap package tour destination of larger louts has now disappeared and in its place is a sophisticated island which attracts many famous people including the King of Spain, what more could you want.
