out of 5The view was excellent across north bay. You could also see the castle. The room was good. We have always loved Scarborough. We went for my husbands 50th birthday.

out of 5The visit was to celebrate a friend's birthday. We usually stay with him but so many friends and relations came we needed to find a hotel. We had stayed at this hotel in the past and had found it very good. This time, it was undergoing refurbishment but it was being well handled and it did not interfere with our enjoyment.

out of 5Good location but the hotel needs some tender loving care wallpaper coming off the wall. Bathroom needed attention too.The prices charged are for a better class hotel im afraid the cliffton hotel at scarborough are charging too much for a hotel that is outdated.

out of 5The hotel was very shabby looking, and the service at breakfast was very poor, also not pleased when being asked to pay extra for a kids breakfast that we thought would be included in the price when booking a triple room! The sea life centre was good but not very big, I wouldn't have paid the full price to get in, it only took just under 2 hours to see everything.
