out of 5We went to celebrate my birthday and st patrick's day. All the excursions to auchwitz, the salt mines and the city of krawkow were excellent. I would have liked to go to the birth place of pope jean paul ii but time did not allow. The nightlife was excellent with good restaurants, bars and clubs. Everything was really cheap due to exchange rate for currency. I would definitely go back again...

out of 5We stayed at the Hotel Chopin which is just outside the City centre. Fantastic hotel with lovely English speaking very helpful staff. We used taxis which the hotel booked for us to get into the city centre which were working out at approx £4-5 for each journey and there were 5 of us - very reasonable.We visited Auschwitz and Auschwitz Birkenau whilst staying at the Chopin Hotel. We took our own car there and it tool about 1.5 hours each way. A very moving experience but I would recommend everyone to go and pay respects to what happened. Overall a fantastic 5 day break and one which I will want to repeat at some time.

out of 5My trip was to relax and do a small amount of sightseeing in Kraków. It wa very relaxing & pleasant. Staff were friendly everywhere. Wódka bar on Miko?ajska (off the old town square) was a lovely bar, very calm and friendly staff. Enjoyed the non-tourist journey to Nowa Huta by tram, just to go to the entrance of the steelworks and walk back through parks to the main square for a tram back to Kraków centre.
