out of 5It was a nice stay. The hotel was nice, in a fantastic location (centre of Canterbury) with a good bar. Basic rooms were a decent size. A little expensive for what it was, but overall a nice experience.

A customerfrom UKwho stayed at 3* Falstaff Hotel in Canterbury wrote this review.
Stay Date: 19/05/11
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5The falstaff hotel, canterbury, is a delightful 'olde worlde' hotel, but there is nothing 'olde worlde' about the service from the staff - they even arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be in our room. Receptionists were extremely helpful in giving directions around the town, and suggesting restaurants. We cannot recommend highly enough chapman's seafood restaurant in canterbury. The decor is minimal yet intimate, the proprietors/service helpful & efficient, and the food: out of this world - if you like seafood!.
Fantastically Managed By The Hotel

out of 5Upon arrival we were treated like royalty but the hotel could not find our reservation-a mis communication between Superbreak & abode perhaps. After finding email confirmation we were treated to free champagne & an upgrade to the most amazing room for our troubles. Fantastic staff from start to finish. We used to live in canterbury & were returning for a birthday treat. The abode was definately the best choice & i have never had such attentive & first class service. Although we only visited the bars in the evening & no other attractions, we know canterbury is an amazing place to spend time!.
