Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. The 'island of eternal spring' has subtropical weather throughout the year and warm, clear seas for swimming and water sports. The south is hotter and drier with developed beach resorts. Inland there are the spectacular volcanic mountains with panoramic views.

out of 5Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too.Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :)

out of 5Casablanca Apartments, very good at the price we payed, double rooms, clean, excellent. Note there are 118 steps down to the town, and back-up, so will keep you fit, or just get a taxi, either way, many hotels in this resort are up a hill! Entertainment a disapointment, even in town, most places closed by 12pm, couple of discos for kids, but small .... maybe we were not trying hard enough, but surprising for a large town.
