Malta Never Changes!

out of 5We visited Malta 22 years ago and expected some improvements but it was very much the same. Quaint, lots of history but now invaded by time-share touts which were a nuisance. The Topaz Hotel was large with all the facilities we needed but required a thorough refurbishment, especially the bathroom which was clean but in poor condition. Otherwise, the accommodation was fine. The food was excellent, especially the evening meal which provided food for every taste and was plentiful. The Empire Cinema ia just around the corner from the Hotel and is a modern, multi-screen cinema showing English films - useful if the weather is bad which it wasn't!! Taxis might seem cheap but the local care hire firms do airport runs even cheaper and the buses are a must! You can get anywhere on the island by bus,which are frequent and the fares are minimal. Overall, we enjoyed our week but don't think we'll be making a third visit.

out of 5We jumped on a bus to the ferry and alighted the stop before the terminus. Walked acroos the road to a tiny beach were speedboats are set off for Comino,we booked a trip to Comino on the speedboat "wow" what an experience well worth the 10 euros spent

out of 5me and my husband had never been to malta before and everyone that we spoke to all said you would either love it or hate it, i wouldn't say that i would return again but we had a lovely holiday the first couple of days it rained, but after that the weather was lovely, the palace hotel we sayed in was very clean and nice, but the bathrooms could do with a make over but was very clean i might add, if you do go with children they will love popey village, but the pavements out there are a little concerning for elderly people, but all in all we had a lovely time.
