out of 5Stayed at the big blue hotel on the south shore in Blackpool, was very pleased with the hotel and have no issues. The service staff were excellent, food was superb if slightly pricey, but well worth every penny, all in all woulndn't hesitate to return again.

out of 5We went to the blackpool sealife centre which was good but not as good as I thought it would of been, its a lot smaller then the one at Scarbrough. We stayed at the big blue hotel which was very nice and totaly 4star, it was a little bit noisy around 8-10pm due to a lot of guests staying but soon went quiet. We all had a good nights sleep and the full breakfast in the morning was great it had everything you could think of for breakfast and suits everbodys taste. Staff were nice and friendly .

out of 5We managed to do a lot in a short time, we went to pleasure beach, the wax works, sea life, ripleys believe or not believe all in all we had great fun, the kids loved it. The lights were enjoyable,as as our ride in the horse & carraige. Blackpool was not as bad as people made out, we actually enjoyed it most certainly will return in warmer weather! The Big Blue hotel well what can we say it was everything we could have wished for, it was modern, contemporary, clean & the kids just adored their own tv's built into walls beside each bunk. It was great the way they had a kids play area in their room, my girls loved it. The rooms were comfortable, the food delicious, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going to Blackpool as many others are dated.
