out of 5The hotel was in an excellent location within walking distance to everthing in and around lucerne. It was clean, tidy with spacious rooms and a larger than king size bed. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english.The local tourist information was close by and well worth a visit for finding out about excursions, timetables, tickets and prices. Some of the excursions were quite expensive and can easily be done independently using local postal buses and/or trains. If you're on a budget, i recommend getting a map of the locality and working out your own days out using local transport. The surrounding mountains, rigi and pilatus, are fantastic, well worth the climb to see view of the swiss alps. Overall lucerne was very safe, clean, tidy and everything ran like clockwork. The locals were friendly, patient and polite. It was a most enjoyable, relaxing, peaceful and idylic short break holiday.

out of 5I have filled out an inaccurate response in the staff box as your system will not allow me to send a response without filling it in however inaccurately. The reception staff were first class - the cleaners made a point of slamming doors and making as much noise as posasable at 6.00am!
