out of 5The hotel was in an excellent location right in the heart of the forest and being central to everything in the new forest. Sadly the hotel was a little scruffy and the bedrooms pretty shabby but this was made up for by the extremely pleasant and helpful staff. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb. A good tip: always make sure you check what venues are planned at the hotel before you book as we had two weddings taking over the facilities of the hotel all day Friday and Saturday.

out of 5We only spent a couple of days in the new Forest but had a great time. The location was beautiful, so many New Forest ponies!Our day at Bealieu House, Abbey & Motor Museum was great. Lots to see & do, good for all ages - a really lovely day out.The evening meal at the hotel was superb. A good selection, wonderfully presented and tasted fantastic - and I didn't have to cook!
