Although the bayswater inn is decently located nearby both the bayswater and queensway tube stops, and it's on a nice enough street, that's about where it ends. The room i stayed in was a glorified hostel room in the basement. The television had two channels, both of which came in fuzzy. The lighting was poor. The bathroom was desperately in need of renovation, and the room itself was beyond that. No in-room safe meant i felt i needed to carry my laptop with me all day, leaving nothing in the room. I'm from the states, and would put this place on par with the cheapest roadside truck-stop motel you could find... Except that the rooms are london-sized, rather than american-sized. Have stayed at several hotels around this price point in London, none of which have made me feel as glad to leave.

Hotel was being refurbished, shame our room was not done earlier. Staff are the hotels best asset. Belcanto is amazing - highly recommended for something a bit different.

The bayswater inn was situated in an ideal position, 5 minutes from the tube. The hotel was clean although delapidated. The staff pleasant and helpful, a broken toilet seat was mended immediately. The breakfast had plenty of choice from hot food to toast or croissants or cereal. I enjoyed myself using the tube seeing three shows and several museums. I saw ghost and the pitman painters which were amazing. However I was disappointed with absent friends which was unfunny and boring. Overall I had a wonderful time.
