out of 5Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Just don't try to go to matlock bath illuminations as the road through is gridlocked and no where to park.

out of 5Having seen some of the poor comments on some sites for this hotel we wonderered what to expect. I am pleased that they were unfouded or had been attended to. Hotel redocorated, new carpets, food and service good. Still seem to have a problem with the spa/pool area a bit dated.

out of 5Overall a delightful hotel.Very helpful staff.Bedroom was decorated to a fair standard -but the bed was very very good-had a great nights sleep.Food in the resteaurant good quality-great flavours and taste.Two negatives -the entrance to the back bedrooms smelt very musty and damp.Main toilets near hotel main reception need a good cleaning.
