out of 5Barcelo oxford hotel is a lovely place to stay, friendly staff, excellent restaurant (aa rated) and comfortable rooms. Very much a business hotel, with conferences taking place while we were there, but no problem, plenty of space. We parked the car and used the local bus service from outside the hotel - takes one right into the middle of oxford and runs every 15/20 minutes until late at night, making it easy to stay in oxford for a show or meal. Certainly hope to go again.

out of 5The hotel was very good but superbreak did not pass on the booking to the hotel. So they did not know we were arriving. Luckily there was a spare room.

out of 5Finally visited the city. Spent the best part of a day just wandering around the city taking in the sights. Bit cold and snowy so hope to go back when warmer.
