out of 5The barcelo hotel oxford is a lovely place to stay, situated on the outskirts of oxford it's easy to get to. The staff were all very polite and helpful, the facilities were good though the swimming pool was a little small, to be fair it was advertised as a splash pool and not a swimming pool. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant on our first night and dined at "jamie's italian" (oliver) in oxford on the second night which was an enjoyable evening. Word of warning, car parking in oxford is very expensive!!! but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel, busses run every 15 mins and are cheap, it's only a 10 minute ride aswell. We wanted a relaxing break and got exactly that, it was an enjoyable weekend and i would recommend.

out of 5I had the best 2 nights' sleep in months in our quiet room, as requested. My daughter and i enjoyed the fabulous facilities the hotel had to offer and the breakfast was superb. The helpful staff advised us on using the local buses to get around cheaply, all within very easy access of the hotel. We will be using this hotel again.
