out of 5Staff very welcoming and helpful. The meal included on the first night was so enjoyable we repeated the experience on the second evening too. Visited the castle(great value and interest), caught a boat to the barrage and walked back (very pleasant), listened to a lunchtime concert at the millenium centre and enjoyed the bus sightseeing tour. A great 2 day break.

out of 5We had a very enjoyable seond honeymoon, which as made special by the hotel, staff & venue. We would love to visit cardiff again.The barcelo chain of hotels would be one that we would visit again.

out of 5We had two nights b & b with dinner on the first night offer. I requested a quiet room which we were given,on the third floor.The reception staff were quick, friendly and efficient on checking in.The restaurant staff were also very attentive and cooperative despite us being late and having a full restaurant.We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely room which was modern and spacious,ate good food, and had a lovely stay.The only grumble we had was the room was very hot despite air-conditioning and open window.Rooms on floors 2 and 3 were well known for being hot!!!however the hotel and its staff created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and we would return and recommend this hotel. Very central and convenient for everywhere,value for money too!!!.

out of 5Great location for the hotel with friendly very helpful staff. Good food and very cosy and comfortable room.The hotel was near to many popular restaurants and shopping centres so we never had far to walk. We had a lovely break and relaxing time- highly recommended!.
