Great hotel and staff were lovely. My husband and I stopped here with our 5 month old son on the way back from our holiday in the lake district. We had a great night and enjoyed the meal that we had booked through Superbreak. The tower and the new sea life aquarium were both brilliant. Would definitely return to the hotel too.

A Trip To Blackpool

A customerwho stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Stay Date: 02/06/11

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

Overall we enjoyed the holiday but 4 days was too long. The roadworks on the front were messy and disruptive with traffic and the trams were far too expensive, busy and infrequent. This spoilt the holiday a little as to get from the hotel to the piers was 2-3 miles and this was too far to walk. The pleasure beach was excellent and good value for money as it was not too busy and the queues were not too long. The waterpark was good but very busy and the food poor. We also visted the zoo which was enjoyable. There was a good variety of animals and the sealion show was very well executed.

A Weekend In Blackpool

A customerfrom STAFFORDwho stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Stay Date: 18/07/09

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

We stayed at the Barcelo Imperial Hotel on north prom, just 10 mins walk from north pier. An excellent hotel, nice old building that's been well maintained and with plenty of character. Rooms very clean and modern. Excellent buffet breakfast. Only £2.50 per day to park car at hotel - far cheaper than pay & display.Bought a day ticket for unlimited travel on the buses which is by far the best (and cheapest way) to get around. Prom has been upgraded and looks alot better but building work still taking place between central & north piers. Town centre also been spruced up. Overall an enjoyable weekend.

January in Blackpool

Stay Date: 24/01/09

Overall Hotel Rating:

4 out of 5

Hotel full of character, slightly shabby outside, but cosy and welcoming inside. Good food, service in the restaurant in the evening a bit quick, not allowing any time to linger, but staff helpful and friendly. Blackpool v. tacky, as expected, but hotel nicely out of main area.
