out of 5Had a great break, the food was amazing and the pool/heath club so quiet a real relaxing good value break. The hotel was so clean as well, very quiet will go back no doubt. One other thing, eat at the cally arms about a mile away lovely people and great value & proper pub food, amazing garlic mushrooms!.

out of 5Our break included the first night meal and the maitre d' looked after us amazingly well. We had our little boy with us and he was made to feel so welcome and was given lots of attention. It made our evening.

out of 5We had a 2 night stay at the alexandra house and can thoroughly recommend the facilities, restaurant and meals - breakfasts were very good and the dinner on friday night was a 7/10! We used the gym and found it adequate and the pool and steam room was also appreciated. Just a shame about the double room; clean enough, but, quite dingy, bed was very soft and not condusive to a sound nights sleep. TV was too small and needed re-tuning on arrival. Cold water tap was dispensing very hot water, which the staff were keen to admit to and rectify. Overall a 7/10 and we will stay here again!!!.

out of 5I went to alexandra house for a relaxing weekend with my partner and we thouroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant manager was amazing he was polite made recomendations and made everyone there feel like they were special. The only downfall to the hotel was the room as the tv did not have half the channels it advertised and they were all jumbled eg channel 4 was number 7! we were also supposed to have welcome drinks in the fridge but that was 1 can of cherryade! but other than this the pool gym and sauna were excellent and the grounds were lovely. Would definaltely recommend but not worth paying to upgrade the room as all the same!!.

out of 5I met up with my mum & 2 sisters and we stayed in the hotel all weekend, we were made to feel very welcome and we enjoyed the leisure facilities and all meals in the hotel, a member of staff made a mistake, they were very apologetic and we would all be happy to meet up and stay again!.
